Richard Gordon

Richard Gordon is an American lawyer, entrepreneur, political operative and leader of a not-for-profit organization. Mr. Gordon is the president of the Gordon Law Firm and affiliated companies, located in New York City. He specializes in assisting companies in growing and expanding their market share across the United States and internationally. He works closely with the nation’s governors and mayors on issues such as economic development and job creation, health care, energy and the environment and telecommunications. He is also deeply involved in the American political system, serving as an advisor to numerous American politicians on the federal, state and local levels. For five years, Mr. Gordon was president of the American Jewish Congress, an international organization dedicated to universal human rights and equal justice. He currently serves as the organization’s chair.

Alberto Ruiz de Aguiar Díaz-Obregón

Alberto Ruiz de Aguiar is a practicing lawyer and a professor in the International Executive Program in Sports Law and Management at Iusport ISDE. He is also author and coordinator of the Money Laundering Prevention course at ISDE, and a professor in the master’s degree program in Sport Organizations "Alfredo Di Stéfano" at Real Madrid International School (UEM). Mr. Ruiz de Aguiar is cofounder and managing partner of the sports law firm Sportia Law. He has held numerous senior positions in Spanish firms, including associate attorney in the specialized tax law firm IUR Abogados, member of the Eulen Group’s legal team, director of assets and patrimony at Eulen-El Enebro, and legal director of Grupo Inmobiliario Vibau, Damirsa SA, Raomi SA, Hertor SA, and Urdefin SL. He holds a law degree from Complutense University Madrid, and master’s degrees in tax law from ICADE Comillas Pontifical University and international sports law from the Institute of Law and Economics (ISDE).

Guillermo Santos

Guillermo Santos is a partner at iCapital in Madrid, an independent advisory group providing financial advice and wealth management. Prior to joining iCapital in 2011, he was managing director of private banking at Banco Popular in charge of SICAVs and investment funds. Previously he worked at Iberagentes Activos SV SA and in the corporate and investment banking unit of Crédit Lyonnais Luxembourg. In 1999, he developed a management program at IESE, the graduate business school of the University of Navarra. Mr. Santos holds a law degree from the University of Zaragoza, a master’s degree in European law from the Royal Institute of European Studies, and various specializations across the spectrum of financial and capital markets. He also holds the professional title of European Financial Analyst (CEFA-Certified Financial EFFAS Analyst) in the Spanish Institute of Financial Analysts of Madrid.

Ned L. Siegel

Ned L. Siegel, former U.S. Ambassador to the Commonwealth of the Bahamas appointed by President George W. Bush in 2007, has over 30 years of entrepreneurial successes. Ambassador Siegel began his career in law, which he left to pursue his passion as an entrepreneur. He joined The Howard Siegel Companies soon afterwards and expanded the company into the Weingarten-Siegel Group, one of the largest residential developers in the nation. Presently, he is Chairman of the Board of The Siegel Group, a real estate development, investment and consulting firm. President George W. Bush honored Ambassador Siegel in 2003 with a Presidential Appointment to the Board of Directors of the Overseas Private Investment Corporation, followed by an appointment in 2006 to serve as a Representative of the United States to the United Nations. Ambassador Siegel graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Connecticut in 1973 and received a Juris Doctorate from the Dickinson School of Law in 1976.

Luis de Ulíbarri

Luis de Ulíbarri has spent most of his career as a tax consultant at J&A Garrigues law firm, ranked number one in the Spanish legal market by Chambers Europe, and at Squire Patton Boggs, one of the largest law firms in the world. With expertise in European and Latin American jurisdictions, he advises multinational groups with a presence in Spain, and provides tax planning for family groups with an international presence. His main areas of practice are energy and real estate law. Since 2010, he has been involved in M&A transactions exceeding six billion euros, as well as the restructuring and relocation of major business groups. Mr. Ulíbarri holds degrees in law and business administration from the University of Valladolid and the Waterford Institute of Technology, and a master's degree in international business from EOI Business School.
